Mission Statement
The mission of the USC Sports Medicine / Shoulder & Elbow Service is to provide regional, national, and international leadership in the advancement of care of both athletes and non-athletes for problems affecting the shoulder, elbow, and knee. This mission is based on advancement of knowledge through research, improvement of care through education of physicians, and clinical management of problems affecting the shoulder, elbow, and knee. The USC Sports Medicine / Shoulder & Elbow Shoulder Service is based at USC University Hospital. The goal of the service is to be one of the preeminent centers in the world, for the treatment of complex injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee.

Practice’s Specialty or Focus
Dr. Hatch specializes in disorders of the shoulder, knee, and elbow as well as all sports-related injuries. He uses state-of-the-art arthroscopic and open surgical techniques to restore damaged joints, ligaments, and bones. Dr. Hatch is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthropaedics at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and serves as a team physician for the University of Southern California Athletic Medicine Department. Dr. Hatch treats patients with all types of shoulder, knee, and elbow disorders including: traumatic, instabilities, rotator cuff, arthritis, sports-related injuries, arthroscopically-treated problems, total shoulder replacement, total elbow replacements, shoulder and collar bone (clavicle) fractures, and elbow and humerus fractures.
